But last week, something shifted. I decided I was tired of blending in with my own blah energy. So, I booked a hair appointment. Just a simple thing — a new hairstyle. Yet, when I looked in the mirror afterwards, I saw a spark again. It reminded me of something powerful: self-maintenance isn’t vanity — it’s self-respect.

You don’t always need a complete makeover to feel renewed. Sometimes it’s a fresh hairstyle, a swipe of lipstick, or putting on your favourite pair of jeans that actually fit. These small acts of care send a message to your mind: “I’m still here. I still matter.”

Style Tip: When you’re in a slump, don’t aim for perfection — aim for progress. Choose one thing that makes you feel put-together again, and build from there. Confidence often starts with the smallest shift.

Happy styling
